Can I use the Cup if I have an IUD?
keyboard_arrow_downWearing an IUD (or intrauterine device) does not prevent you from using the Luneale Cup if the strings are cut short enough, and being aware that in the first 3 months after insertion, spontaneous IUD expulsions are not uncommon.
The Luneale Cup is actually the menstrual cup recommended by many midwives for its low suction effect. You can read our complete article on this subject: Cup and IUD, is it possible?
Should I choose the classic or Tonic Cup?
keyboard_arrow_downThe classic version suits the vast majority of people. For experts, its firmness is 50 shore.
However, if you have a very toned pelvic floor (for example, if you do a lot of sport with genuine consideration for your pelvic floor), or if you prefer firmer cups, then the Tonic will also suit you. For experts, its firmness is 70 shore.
I have very sensitive mucous membranes, is The Foam suitable for me?
keyboard_arrow_downWith its pH of 5.5 and impeccable composition, The Foam is perfectly suited to sensitive mucous membranes.
Read the reviews, many customers swear by it even though they had problems with standard intimate cleansers.
Why does the Luneale Disc have a 6-hour wear time while other brands say it can be kept in for 12 hours?
keyboard_arrow_downA recent law requires indicating 6 hours maximum wear time for tampons and menstrual cups sold in France. Menstrual discs, which are more recent, are not expressly mentioned in this law, so some brands take advantage of this legal "grey area" to talk about 12 hours.
But since these are also internal protections and their material is the same as that of menstrual cups, we prefer to adopt the most responsible attitude by indicating 6 hours, even if the law does not (yet) require us to do so.
Of course, in reality, we are not with you in your bathroom, and you are free to use The Disc as you see fit.
But as a committed brand, we prefer to give you the most precise and cautious information so that you can make your choices consciously.
