Wash your hands.
Fold La Cup using your preferred method (C-fold or punchdown fold) and gently insert it into the vagina.
Release the fold and twist it slightly toward the back until it sits about one fingertip from the vaginal entrance.

Pinch the base of La Cup and pull it out gently.
If La Cup has moved up a little higher, squat down or lightly push with your pelvic muscles to bring it down and make it easier to reach.
Rinse La Cup with cold potable water (hot water can set the pigments in the blood), then reinsert it.
